Recent Success Stories:
A recent client with a drilling platform in the North Sea required Drilling data extraced in real time from an existing
(old) Drilling Data Acquisition System and fed to the Mud Logging company.
We consulted with the original systems manufacturer and using a 3rd party software design house we provided a software
bridge in order that the two system could communicate with each other, thus the Mud Loggers gained access to all the real time drilling data.
A dual RS232 link between the two systems provided the physical link and with the software bridge installed on the Mud Loggers system the data was received via DDE (dynamic data exchange).
Given the only alternative was for a complete new suite of sensors & systems to re-aquire all the raw drilling data, the
project was a runaway success!
